Mechanical Test Engineer

Job Description:
  • Responsible for Product validation testing
  • Product specification verification
  • Product performance testing
  • Regulatory safety testing
  • Product durability and reliability testing
  • Design and construct test equipment
  • Analysis of product performance and recommend design improvements
  • Assembly of engineering prototypes field testing and Production support

Position Requirements:
  • Electric motors and power transmission components and systems
  • Instrumentation including: temperature, humidity, gas flow, electric power, vibration and acoustical noise and data loggers
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors and fluid power systems
  • Mechanical component inspection
  • Machined part fabrication
  • Electrical system wiring and troubleshooting
  • Technical report writing

Technical Service Representative


Job Description:
  • Provide phone support to end-users through calls from dealers, distributors and sales representatives. Phone support may include troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of equipment such as utility and digital imaging products
  • Perform proper call diagnosis via utilization of specific product scripting
  • Proper case entry documentation into our ESS as it pertains to incoming call complaints
  • Perform on-site field service and help with convention and meetings when needed
  • Assist other departments when the need arises
  • Continue to improve product knowledge and customer service skills

Position Requirements:
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude desired
  • Imaging/PC experience required
  • Prior call center environment experience
  • Prefer dental or similar technical troubleshooting experience
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills required

Tool Maker

Job Description:
  • Must be able to design and build simple tools and fixtures
  • Work from blueprints and sketches are a must
  • Interact and support manufacturing with maintaining and repairing tools and equipment
  • Interact and support engineering with prototype parts
Position Requirements:
  • Need extensive exposer in al-around conventional and CNC machining, like Lathe and Milling Machine
  • General experience in Pneumatic and electrical circuitry
  • Experience in computer aided design, like Solid Works or similar would be helpful
  • Should be Computer literate

PC Technician

Job Description:
  • Build and install applicable software on desktop computer systems
  • Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues on desktop systems
  • Support end users
Position Requirements:
  • Windows XP/Windows 7
  • PC hardware experience in relation to both building and troubleshooting (help desk experience)
  • Microsoft Office 2007/2010
  • Virus/Malware removal
  • Troubleshoot smartphones/tablets
Part Time Receptionist

Job Description:
  • Enthusiastic and friendly candidate who will be the main face for all visitors coming through Air Techniques, Inc.
  • Responsible for answering phones, directing calls using the switchboard, stamping mail using the mail machine, receiving and sorting mail, invoices and checks, registering visitors, and assisting other departments as needed
  • Position hours are flexible - willing to train
Position Requirements:
  • Professional manner, clear speaking voice, organizational skills, good computer skills
  • PMail machine knowledge a plus
  • Experience in an office environment is helpful
  • Previous customer service or reception experience is a plus
  • High School Graduate or equivalent

Electrical Engineering Intern

Job Description:
  • Calibration of electrical and mechanical instruments per ISO/ANSI standards
  • Prototype and electrical sub-assemblies and systems
  • Perform verification/validation test on products and subassemblies
  • Fabricate and trouble shoots automated test fixtures
  • Maintain lab supplies and equipment
Position Requirements:
  • Must be able to set up and operate Electrical multi meters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, power analyzers, transducers and temperature measurement devices
  • Must have basic knowledge of digital circuits, analog circuits, AC power systems and computer systems
  • Must have basic hands on fabrication, assembly and wiring skills
