Air Techniques Adds 2 New Positions – National Sales Manager East and West

MELVILLE, New York — (August 12, 2014) — Air Techniques, Inc., a leading innovator and manufacturer of dental equipment has announced the addition of 2 new positions- National Sales Manager East and West. Air Techniques has promoted John Mancus and Michael Murphy into these roles. John has been named the National Sales Manager – East, and Michael has been named the National Sales Manager – West.

These new roles will strengthen Air Techniques’ communication chain and sales support. John and Michael will report directly to Lou Guellnitz, Director of North American Sales. Air Techniques’ Regional Sales Specialists will report to John and Mike, depending on the location of their territory.

John Mancus has been in the dental industry for nearly two decades, working with both manufacturing and the dealer network. He joined Air Techniques earlier this year as a Regional Sales Specialist. John’s previous role prior to joining Air Techniques was with Benco Dental as their Equipment Marketing Manager/National Technology Manager. Prior to that, John was with Patterson Dental Supply, American Dental Technologies and Schick Technologies.

Michael Murphy has been with Air Techniques since 2001. He started as a Customer Service Representative in the California office located in Corona. Throughout his career with Air Techniques, Mike has distinguished himself as a dedicated, skilled and knowledgeable team member.  Mike’s talents were recognized with promotions starting in 2005 to West Coast Manager, followed by West Coast Unit Manager, and in 2010 he became the Operations Manager Western Facility.
