Wilhelm Dürr (*1907–1995) – trained as a precision engineer at Zeiss Ikon and later worked for Bosch before co-founding his own workshop with his brother in 1941. He was awarded multiple patents for his inventions.
Karl Dürr (*1905–1989) – trained as a mechanic at Union textile machinery and later worked at Bleyle and Mann+Hummel. In 1941, he co-founded a workshop with his brother, focusing on building and growing the company.
